SOB

SOB
SOB.... Not referring to its most common meaning. But instead Shipley Orchard Band. It's a gathering that my family puts on every year around the 4th of July. A lot of my cousins are really big into band music. So them and there friends but together a selection of band tunes all centered around a theme. Everyone brings a dish to share and we all eat and enjoy the music. Following the concert is a spectacular fire works show. I just love the finale because there is just so much stuff up in the sky you don't know to look. First you go for the sparkles, then you get distracted by a big boom, but then there a rainbow colored explosion that catches your eye, next is the spiraling stars, before you know it the whole sky is filled with nothing but lights. Anytime I watch a fireworks I also think of "The Sandlot". When it is the 4ht and they are running through the block party on the street to make it to the baseball field. They make it to the field and they start playing as usual. But once the fireworks start, they all stop and stare up at the sky. Still scattered around the diamond they watch in awe. Hope you enjoyed the fourth!

P.S. not that this song directly relates to the forth of July but American by Lana Del Rey is AMAZING, just like the rest of her stuff.
